What happens at the Meet & Greet?

At the meet & greet, we will take the time to get to know you and your furry loved one(s).  We will go over the paperwork together, learn about your pet’s daily routines, and how we can best make him/her comfortable and happy while you are away.  Please have two keys ready for us.  We will keep one key locked in our office, and one key will be with us during your sit.

How are keys stored?

We assign an anonymous code for your key.  One spare will be kept locked in a lockbox in our office, and one will stay with your sitter - only while visiting your pet.  For your convenience, we can hold on to your keys to simplify booking services in the future, or you can schedule a key return.  The first key return is free.  All other key returns will incur a $6 key return fee.

Is there an extra charge during the holidays?

Yes, during the holidays listed below, there will be an $10 holiday charge to compensate your sitter for time spent working during the holidays.

New Year’s Eve  •  New Year’s Day  •  Easter Sunday  •  Memorial Day  •  July 4th,   •  Labor Day  •  Thanksgiving Day  •  Christmas Eve  •  Christmas Day

Do you accept last minute reservations?

We understand last minute emergencies can occur.  We will do our very best to accommodate your needs, but if possible, please contact us 48 hours or more before your intended service is to begin. (Contacting us two weeks or more before major holidays is recommended).

How do I know when you’ve visited my pets?

You can opt to use our free GPS check-in/out system to receive email updates that will tell you exactly when we arrive and leave your home.

What happens if my pet requires vet attention while I am away?

First, we will give you a call.  If it is an emergency, we will take your pet immediately to the vet or emergency vet of your choosing.  If we are unable to get a hold of you or your emergency contact, we will head immediately to the vet per your instructions in our veterinary release agreement.

What does being insured and bonded mean for a pet sitting business?

Essentially, it means that we take full responsibility for your pet and possessions while you are away.  For example, if your dog bit another dog while we were on a walk, our liability insurance would cover the vet bills.  If we accidentally knocked down a picture while at your house, we would cover the cost of fixing the picture/framing.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, checks and credit cards.

Do you offer any discounts?

We offer a referral rewards program in which you can earn 15% off your next service by referring one of your friends or family members.
